I guess since this is my first entry I need to give a little background I am from a family of 3 brothers and 2 sisters both parents still alive but are elderly and unfortunately are not doing real well right now. But that is for some other time and story. Me I am a middle aged OF (Old Fart) divorced with a 27 year old son that happens to be my room mate in Branford. I work in one of the Business Offices at Yale University.
Enough of that. You will find out that I think I am witty but will at least admit I am corny the more I write and hopefully you read. Some can tell that I was part of the 60′s from the reference to the old “Buffalo Springfield” song that is the title of my blog. “Far Out”… I always hated that saying especially when John Denver said…. it’s like fingers on a chalkboard feeling….enough said. I actually was part of the last draft but I never signed up for my card….. I did run scared for a few years… definitely was going to take that extended vacation in Canada if needed. What is funny my Dad knew about it but was cool even though he was a decorated hero from WWII and was one of those crazy Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne elite.
I guess I digressed a little. I hope to bear out all my Good and Bad and hopefully thru our travels together I can make you laugh a little, cry and maybe learn from my mistakes.
I am still trying to figure this out. So a little patience (well maybe a lot).
I do want to say I am basically happy most of the time (could use some female companionship) or a semi – girlfriend that can put up with me.

I love your site. Keep it up !
Thanks…..My life seems to be full of suprises ..so I will always have something to say
