Another one of my I think Funny Travelling Experiences.
About 10 years ago I did a Sea Cruise on the Carnival Line. You know one of those package deals that that happened to cruise thru the Western Caribbean. To give you some background I went with 3 girls we all shared the same room. Well I never really saw them because unlike me they were all getting laid and hardly ever shared the cabin. The ship was the Ecstacy… please lets not get into what cruiseline is the best…. You make of any trip you want and if you do not have a good time on a cruise… Sorry you must be a loser. A little background to set up the first night. I studied and at onetime wanted to play Blackjack as living but that fell thru when my friend went to Vegas before me got thrown out for counting cards. So I do fancy myself as a good player. Now what is weird (one of many) is I only gamble when I go on a vacation even though I live in CT with the 2 big Indian casinos…. never have a desire to go to them… Anyways before I digress too much no matter where I go I check into my room and immediately go to the tables. Sorry digressing again. I have only lost ONCE in my life… So lets say I have won a lot….. Sorry Uncle Sam.. probably somewhere to the positive 50 grand….. Back again I sat down I think 8ish at night…. You know you have to go through all the safety crap first….. Well anyways I found a table sat next to a older woman I believe from Miami ( I think originally from Long Island) well she was dressed to the nines with all the baubles and dyed white hair and fake nails to boot. Well we hit it off and we both kept winning slowly our piles got bigger and we attracted crowds around us. Now this table was only a $500 max eventually I was at the point where I was betting the max and warrented doubled down. I did ask if they would waive the max but alas no they wouldn’t. I eventually got tired around 3ish I walked away with $8000 and my betting friend walked with $6000ish.
This is the funny part. Well you know if you don’t drink on a trip also probably don’t go.. because it is part of your job. Now on cruise ships there are a bazillion bars and you meet all new sets of people at each one. I walked into one that had one of those revolving pianos in there… After a few drinks…. guess who walks in ..that’s right my blackjack partner…… now we started drinking, talking and laughing about things and how she wants me to come to Miami and date her GRAND DAUGHTER…. so you know she is a lot older…. All of a sudden I get up… and no lie she attacks me and pushes me on the Piano and starts kissing me and throwing me the tongue….. so here is the image I am flailing on a revolving piano with people either laughing or gasping…..I was with my Roommates and they were Mortified…. how do you think I felt… I did break away from her…… No don’t worry the ship is so big I was able to avoid her the rest of the trip. NO I did not like it but my friends found it funny afterwards.
Daily no matter where we spent the night we would all meet to lay in the sun and laugh the next day..of course the girls were not shy talking about their love life (hence my problem) me being seen with 3 attractive women. I hung at a certain bar and became friendly with a crew that met at this bar daily at the same time….. there was this woman I found attractive and you know looking for some sea cruise romance….. well on the last day she tells me that she thought I was hot (yes even guys look good at closing time) the problem again was she saw me daily with these girls and thought I was with one of them……. Well remember last day……. too late…. I think she wanted to not to just jump into the sack…. on the last day…. but also I figured since she was a FBI agent she very set in routines…. oh we could have used those handcuffs…. just kidding sort of. Well we kissed goodbye and did write afterwards but never a return oh well I guess I did look good at closing time.
Oh…. What school do Belly Dancers go to??? Give up The Naval Academy… Ha Ha …. yes corny
